Description

GOOD BAR IMPULSE is an ID registered POA that does not qualify for show privileges due to his lack of color and excess height. If you are looking for a talented horse that is small in stature, Milo is a great find. Check out his pedigree! Ponies this well bred don’t come around often. Milo could easily excel in open shows. By sale time, Milo will be carrying tack, ground driving, and be started lightly under saddle. Due to his age, we recommend an experienced rider at this time. This horse is HYPP N/N.

UPDATE: While we ran out of time to start Milo under saddle, he is lounging with tack and the walk, trot, and canter as well as carrying a bridle and flexing to rein pressure. Additionally, Milo has calmly carried a rider a handful of times and is now ready to go further!

BLOODLINES: Milo’s sire, First Impulse , is a 3 time POA Champion winner and 3 time POA High Point earner. He is also the sire of POAC International, Regional, Classic, and State Futurity Champions. A Sudden Impulse is an AQHA Leading Sire and Money Earning Sire who has produced Congress Champions, and NSBA Money Earners. Impulsions is an NSBA Hall of Fame Inductee and AQHA/NSBA Leading Sire. POAC stallion Salty Gotta Look , is a POA Champion and leading halter and performance horse sire. AQHA stallion Good Bar Wrapper is a Congress Champion and AQHA Champion sire, producing performers with over 1,400 AQHA points and over $38,000 in NSBA and AQHA Incentive Fund earnings. Zippos Mr Good Bar is an NSBA Hall of Fame Inductee and sire of earners of 30,000 points and over $1,200,000. Additionally, he is listed as a Top Ten All Time Leading sire for both AQHA and NSBA. Zippo A Ward was a 1991 AQHA Western Pleasure Honor Roll Stallion, and an Equistate Leading Sire of English and Western Pleasure Horses. Milo also carries the bloodlines of AQHA & NSBA Hall of Fame horses Zippo Pine Bar (4x) , The Investor (3x) , and Zippo Pat Bar (7x) , NSBA Hall of Fame horses Tamara Wess and The Big Investment , AQHA Hall of Fame Horses Blondys Dude , Poco Bueno , Three Bars , Doc Bar , and Sugar Bars , and AQHA Champion producer Skipper W .

Donated by Pam and Dennis Coombs of Columbia, MO in 2009.
