MU STREAK THRU SUGAR is a breeding stock paint mare that has a big stride and nice movement that will allow her to excel in both English and Western events. She is a very nice blend of foundation and performance breeding. Penguin is very responsive, willing, and inquisitive. By sale time she will be carrying tack & be started lightly under saddle. Due to her age, it is recommended that Penguin be paired with an experienced horseman.
BLOODLINES: Penguin’s sire Blues Rey Jay is a Foundation Quarter Horse in central Missouri that is big boned and stout! He is a grandson of Ima Son O Sugar, NCHA money earner, Bronze winner of Southeastern Open Futurity, finalist in Atlantic Coast Cutting Futurity, and sire of NRHA money earners.
Pebbles dam was a tall, modern mare sired by Streak Thru Bars (ROM in western pleasure, trail, and hunter hack). This stallion was sired by Flash Thru Bars who earned ROMs in trail and western pleasure, as well as points in halter, hunter under saddle, and racing. Both of these paint stallions (bay overos) produced horses excelling in barrel racing, western pleasure, showmanship, hunter under saddle, trail, western horsemanship, pole bending, and working hunter. Penguin also carries the bloodlines of AQHA Hall of Fame Horses Sugar Bars, Doc Olena,
